Carbonomics, Sheffield-based manufacturers of Precision Ground Machine Knives, is a family-owned business that was established in 1999 by a small team with many years experience in knife production. Our initial aim was to service the UK end-user market of the food processing industry by supplying high-quality formed cutting knives (tray knives) and also offering a regrind service of these products.

We have proved a huge success in this area due to providing the excellent rapid service that is required in this market, thus enabling us to become a leading manufacturer of machine knives for UK industry today.

Our continued success has allowed us to expand into other industries where machine knives are used, not only for end-users in the UK but also an ever-growing number of companies world-wide. And our product range has also expanded in line with our increased activity to include a tremendous variety of machine knives of all types, primarily straight knives, both plain and serrated, circular knives and numerous knives designed for specific applications which can take all sorts of shapes.
